Having just tried the Black Swan Riesling and enjoying it immensely I decided to go out and get another bottle. Truthfully, in a fit of excitement to purchase said wine yours truly picked up the Pinot Grigio instead. It was actually a happy mistake.

The Black Swan Pinot Grigio 2009 (Australia) is very flavorful. It’s tart but not overly so with hints of sweetness. There are hints of apple and pear and the finish is clean. The price was $6.99. Overall, not a bad option for this type of grape.
