Sometimes I resist getting the brands seen most often at the liquor stores…. Some days though when unsure what wine will hit the spot, ubiquitous brands like Barefoot work. The Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc is bright and not super fruity. It finds a good balance between tart and sweet. There were oddly apple cider-y notes, especially on the 2nd day. I like this wine for an affordable day to day choice.
Now that Spring is arriving in a matter of days I’m interested in finding a few go to wines like this. Any suggestions? This was picked up for $6.99 at Bay River.
