Sweet Beat: Enjoy Life Soft-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies Review (Gluten Free, Vegan)

Source: Enjoy Life Foods

Enjoy Life Foods,  not to be confused with Eat Well Enjoy Life make some of the best soft baked cookies I’ve ever had. They’re bite size and come 12 to a box. For the sale price of $3.19 (regular price $4.50-$5) at LifeThyme Health Market in New York, they were a deal. Unlike many cookies it’s hard to tell these are gluten free. The primary flour is actually sorghum which gives a hearty taste. The sweeteners are brown sugar and date paste providing a rich, satisfying taste. These would be a great cookie to serve to people who just stopped eaten gluten to prove soft, moist cookies are not only possible but delicious. They oddly remind me of ginger snaps without the ginger.

All Enjoy Life Goods are “free of the 8 most common allergens” including dairy and soy. They’re explicitly labeled as gluten free as well.

I make  a weekly trip to beautiful Jefferson Market library which is catty corner to Lifethyme – so clearly stocking up on more cookies is in order. Here is a store locator so you can find them in your area.
